New York City offers an extensive system of schools. You may want to place your child into one of the most competitive of them under the Gifted & Talented program. This program offers an accelerated curriculum and a chance to be in a class with other academically talented children. An accelerated curriculum means a better overall education and better preparation for Common Core tests, and eventually, college admission.

Why to choose little genius prep
Little Genius Prep is proud to announce that in the 2015 school year, 92% of our students were admitted into G&T programs. Our educators are constantly working to improve their own knowledge and skills so that they can prepare your child for rapidly growing requirements of the academic curriculum.
Our compassionate and caring teachers are dedicated to your child's academic and personal success. To meet the complexity of the Gifted & Talented program, they developed an inclusive coordinated system for an early intervention approach which helps your child extend concentration, master abstract thought, and develop mental stamina. Preschoolers learn to identify patterns and relationships between them, complete analogies, and recognize the sequence of shapes, objects and events. Through active engagement in purposeful, problem-solving activities and specialized instruction, educational games, and hands-on activities, children develop critical thinking and reasoning abilities. Because verbal reasoning and comprehension skills are most closely related to scholastic achievement, preschoolers are taught to understand explanations, to solve problems through the use of language, to manipulate or respond to information through listening, and follow multi-step directions.
In addition to building a solid foundation towards future academic success, we would like our children to realize that learning is a fascinating adventure that allows them open new possibilities, to explore themselves and the world around them.
